June Guy Challenge 2013 - June Guy 12

Well folks, I've had another art tantrum of a day.  Whatever could go wrong, did.  I haven't painted in a while and wanted to paint a picture of Jazz poet and musician Gil Scott-Heron.  The picture (from one of his album covers) is like a negative or partial silhouette.  Anyway, I struggled with the painting, and with recording the video.  After  that struggle juggle, I did another video in my art journal book and I had a few product and skills malfunction.  Moving on from there, I created some tags and greeting cards, all of which gave me some problem.  But I hung in there.  I had some really great music going and I just pushed on.

I've decided to include Gil Scott-Heron in the June Guys Challenge.
I'm not crazy about the outcome but it will do.  Here's the video, let me know what you think.

  2. This is just brilliant, Carol! I love how you get so much "personality" into your faces. I love that you struggle a bit, yet always persevere! It gives me hope!
