Well folks, life has tripped me up here for a minute and I sorta kinda lost my way. Thanks to Kay Wallace's recent post, I got a spark of creativity. She created a wonderful tag (please check it out) with a burnt edge technique which really intrigued me. I then set out trying to duplicate the technique. Now I don't know if I used the right colors but you get the jest of what I was trying to achieve.
When I'm feeling uninspired or stuck, I love looking at what other artist are doing. I haunt blogs, my YouTube subscriptions, HGTV and magazines, either they inspire me, make me think or touch my heart. Now that I've got my mojo back (well at least 80% of it) you can expect a video in the next few days.
I would love to hear what you do to find your mojo when its MIA.
Until the next blog....enjoy!

Thanks for the shout out, Carol! Glad I could inspire YOU for a change! ;-) Love your tags, especially that girl image...is it yours? She is just beautiful. I really like that "burnt edge" technique that I learned in my class!
ReplyDeleteYour so welcome, your tag really got me started. Yes, Driah is one of my new "Funky Girl" stamp designs. I've been having a lot of fun with her. Stay tuned for more ;)
