Hello
One of the things that I like to do with my stamps is copy and enlarge them. Ya know, sometimes a project calls for that. Today's featured stamp is another "finish me" stamp, Keisha. For my card project, the actual stamp image was a lil too small for my card and since I already had the image in my computer, I enlarged and flipped the image and printed her out onto my card.
Whats nice about the "finish me" stamps is that their great for practicing drawing your facial features. I find profiles challenging, this one didn't turn out too bad. The stamp is fantastic without features too. Keisha is available here.
Please note: If your making a project to sell, check the company's angel policy to be sure they allow you to copy/enlarge/alter/print the stamp image. Some companies may allow you to do one of these things but not the others, or none at all, so just be careful.
Keisha began as a hand carved stamp before I decided to make her into a cling stamp. Speaking of hand carved stamps, the stamp carving class I'll be teaching in the My Color is Beautiful Art Workshop is coming up in February. I would love for you to join me. Click here to register.
That's it for me today, I hope you all are doing well with your New Year resolutions. Until the next blog...enjoy!
Carol
Keisha is gorgeous, Carol. Love the detail in her lips and lashes! I love my photo editing software, too! Love flipping and resizing there! Good luck with the upcoming class!
