Now here's a different journal page. I've been having the worst time with technology lately. I haven't been able to record/edit or up load any videos in a while. I sure hope Santa brings me some new equipment this year.
This page, though it was a lot of fun, was made after a frustrating 2hrs of trying to get a video completed. this morning I'm working in a homemade journal, starting out with this page.
I felt it was a little to loud so I added Distress Paints, white picket fence and green quiet it down some.
Next I mixed blue and yellow embossing paste together and scraped it through my circuit board stencil.
After the embossing paste was dried I placed the stencil back on the page and offset it slightly and tapped some red paint through the stencil.
I then took some pop up dots and cut some of the height off of it glued them down with Glossy Accents. The tops of the dots were painted black before gluing string around them. Once the string was wrapped around the dots I glued cog embellishments on top and called it done.
I'm really pleased with how this page turned out. I have no idea how long these dots and cogs will hold up in this journal, but it's not one I handle a lot. This may be better suited for a canvas, so we'll see.
Thanks for today's, I hope you subscribe and follow my blog. Let me know what you think about today's page.
Until the next blog, enjoy!
Carol
