Feature Stamp Tuesday - Pussy Willows

Hey folks,

Today's featured stamp is this Pussy Willows stamp that I bought from Repeat Impressions,  they came here for a stamp show.  They have some really great stamps and I love love love, Pussy Willows (and Cat Tails).  If you get a chance, check out there webpage here , you may see something you like.

Using watercolor paper, the background was created with a light wash of distress inks.  The stamp was stamped with Vintage Photo distress ink then spritz with water.  (I stamped it twice).  For the branches, I used a water brush with Tea Dye and Walnut stain distress ink.  A white gel pen was used for the cats and the blossoms.  Yesss, life is beautiful, sure beats the alternative.

Thanks for your visit today.  Leave me a comment to let me know you've been here.

For those that are snowed in today, I hope it's a crafty day for you.  Until the next blog...enjoy and stay warm!

  1. To me, pussy willows signify new beginnings and, here, they make such a beautiful card! Great choice of colors, Carol! Yes, I was one who was snowed in by 30" of snow! But, yes, I chose to spend most of the day in my studio!
