Hello TBT - Prince of Thieves

This Throw Back Thursday, I've come across an acrylic painting I did a few years ago.  On an art field trip (with just myself) I had gone to an antique shop and took a picture of this statue.  I don't know who the sculptor was or who this was suppose to represent.   So, I made up my own story and call him the Prince of Thieves. I really like this painting, and even thought about touching it up and fixing all of the flaws, but, nah! It shows what my skills were like then.  I've come a long way and still have a long way to go.

Hello Throw Back Thursday- The beginning

Hello everyone,

Today I'm taking a look back at the beginning of my Funky Girls stamps.  This is one of my first full body carvings and the different ways I tested it out.

I love the "super hero" look about her as she stands on top of a mountain. I'm sure all super heroes stand on top of a mountain at some point, their a super hero for goodness sakes!

TBT - Art Journal Page

For Throw Back Thursday, I thought I'd share one of my favorite art journal pages.  I've been carving stamps for two year now, the face on this page is my very first attempt at stamp carving.  I call myself being clever by not carving out the eyes so that I could draw the eyes looking in which ever direction I wanted. LOL!

I love love love elephants and there is something very calming to me about this lone elephant being watched over.  I didn't date the journal page but it was created sometime before the stamp. In playing with the new stamp, I added it to this page and I'm glad I did.

Do you ever go back through your art journal or other work and make adjustments to it?
