I peeled the back of the contact paper off and stuck it to a piece of card stock and used one of my embossing folders for the design.
Then I put alcohol ink all over it. Those stoppers from Starbucks comes in handy. I use them to help put glue down, spread ink and all kinds of stuff.
Next, I put black gesso all over it.
I left the gesso on for just a couple of minutes and then wiped it off, revealing some of the ink underneath. Removing some as well (I didn't know that was going to happen, happy mistake!)
I painted some grungeboard cut outs with distress paints and put glossy accents on top.
TAH DAH!!
Love love love how quick this card came together. This picture doesn't do the colors justice, you have to see it in person. And it's nice how the card catches and plays with the light.
